Hosta ‘Queen Josephine’ is a refined, glossy sport of the classic ‘Josephine’ and a longtime favorite among collectors. This small–medium variety forms a tidy, elegant mound of very dark green, heart-shaped leaves framed by a wide yellow margin that brightens to creamy white as the season progresses. The leaves are exceptionally glossy with heavy substance, giving the plant a polished, high-end look in the garden.
