Meet Ed

Ed Thaubald is the founder and driving force behind Bentley Gardens, a venture rooted in a lifelong appreciation for growth and thoughtful design. With 20+ years of hands-on experience cultivating both plants and ideas, Ed has built Bentley Gardens from the ground up. Ed combines experience from the military, UPS, landscaping, and finally growing his own plants to build his successful business. He has become a renowned Hosta grower introducing named cultivars and growing seedlings. He shares his passion for plants through pages such as the Bentley Gardens Facebook page, Hostas and Shade Plants Facebook page, Bentley Gardens Designs clothing and accessories Facebook Page, and participating as an admin in the local seed swap group. Through Bentley Gardens, Ed continues to share his passion for growth—both in the garden and in life—creating work that is meaningful and ever evolving.

 

Meet Allison

Allison has been working at Bentley Gardens since 2021. Beginning with weeding the daylily garden, her interest and skill has built over time to include all responsibilities at Bentley Gardens from weeding to planting seedlings (pictured left) to dividing and replanting hostas and daylilies. She has also dappled in planting seeds and growing seedlings for hostas and daylilies. Allison is the face of Bentley, hosting online videos and sometimes doing auctions.
