Daylily Puff Adder
Daylily Puff Adder
Daylily ‘Puff Adder’ is a bold and energetic cultivar introduced by Polston in 2013, known for its dramatic edging and strong garden performance. This plant brings serious attitude to the border, combining saturated color with heavy ruffling and toothy detail that stands out even from a distance.
Blooms measure approximately 5 inches, opening rich purple with a ruffled, toothy gold edge and a contrasting green throat that adds depth and brightness. Plants reach about 24 inches tall, bloom in midseason, and are known to rebloom under good conditions. A tetraploid with 15 buds and 4 branches, ‘Puff Adder’ offers solid scape presence and dependable flower production. Dormant habit makes it well suited for colder climates. Winner of the JC Award in 2012, this is a proven performer with show-quality traits.
