Hosta ‘Potomac Pride Splashed’ is a large streaked hosta introduced by Bill Silvers in 2013 as a tissue culture sport of ‘Potomac Pride’. This cultivar is valued for its dramatic foliage, high gloss finish, and strong collector appeal.
Plants form a large, impressive mound of very dark green foliage with bold white streaking running through the leaves. The leaves are very shiny with a distinct downwardly cupped form, giving the plant a polished, almost lacquered appearance that stands out even in dense shade. As a true streaked hosta, pattern expression can vary, adding individuality and interest to each plant.
A refined and visually powerful streaked hosta that excels as a specimen plant and is highly desirable among collectors of glossy, dark-leaved cultivars.
