Hosta Mighty Mini

Hosta ‘Mighty Mini’ is a registered mini to small hosta introduced by Bill Silvers in 2013. This cultivar is a tissue culture sport of ‘One Iota’, selected for its compact size, clean edging, and refined Mouse Ears form. Its stable habit and consistent appearance make it especially useful for containers, troughs, and small garden spaces.

The small, rounded leaves are blue-green with a soft greenish-yellow edge that remains stable and does not turn white. Leaves have a slight sheen and form a dense, tidy mound with excellent symmetry. Plants mature at approximately 6 inches tall and 13 inches wide, making ‘Mighty Mini’ ideal for close-up viewing. In early to mid-summer, pale purple flowers appear, adding a gentle accent above the foliage.
