Hosta ‘June’ is one of the most celebrated hostas ever introduced — a sport of the legendary ‘Halcyon’ with a brilliant gold center and cool blue-green margins. Its thick, ovate leaves emerge creamy in spring, brighten to chartreuse or gold with morning sun, and keep excellent substance throughout the season. In cooler climates, the variegation stays vivid all summer; in warmer climates it may soften slightly during the heat.
This award-winning classic forms a 15–16" tall mound and spreads to around 36–37" wide, topped with pale lavender blooms in July–August on 20–24" scapes. A standout collector favorite with strong durability, slug resistance, and exceptional garden presence.
