A sport of ‘Fragrant Bouquet’, ‘Guacamole’ features large, glossy leaves with rich chartreuse to golden centers surrounded by dark green margins. As the season progresses and with increased light, the foliage intensifies to a warm golden hue, creating a bright focal point in the landscape.

This variety forms a large, open mound approximately 18–24 inches tall and up to 4 feet wide, making it ideal for filling space in shade gardens or anchoring mixed borders. Unlike many hostas, ‘Guacamole’ thrives with a bit more sun, which enhances both its color and vigor.

In late summer, it produces large, highly fragrant, near-white to pale lavender flowers that are among the best in the hosta world—both in size and scent.
