Hosta ‘Fragrant Bouquet’ — Apple-Green Leaves, Creamy Edges, and Strong Fragrance
Hosta ‘Fragrant Bouquet’ is a beloved Paul Aden introduction and winner of the 1998 Hosta of the Year award. This medium-large variety forms a bright, refreshing clump of apple-green leaves framed by wide, creamy yellow-to-white margins. The foliage is smooth, lightly wavy, and highly attractive throughout the season, with excellent vigor and strong garden presence.
In late summer, the plant produces large, pale lavender to near-white flowers on tall 36–47" scapes. These blooms are very fragrant, with a sweet, gardenia-like scent that makes ‘Fragrant Bouquet’ a standout among fragrant hostas. It is sun-tolerant, pest resistant, and grows into a beautiful, wide mound that lights up any shade garden.
