Explosion in the Orange Grove (Kendig, 2022) is a dormant tetraploid unusual form daylily with 8-inch gold and orange broken color with twisting and quilling sepals blooms. It blooms midseason on 40-inch scapes with 2 branches and approximately 13 buds.
